For Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, our team brought to life all sequences in which Hank Pym’s lab shrinks to the size of a suitcase and grows back to a full-sized building, adding in simulations for the surrounding disturbances. Our environment extensions for the film include turning a Georgian forest into a Californian park with CG sequoias.

One of our team’s favorite sequences is the destruction scene at San Francisco’s Pier 41. As Pym’s lab suddenly grows back to its regular building size, it destroys everything around it from the ground to trees, benches and newsstands. This sequence was an exciting challenge for our FX artists who created all the destruction.
