Key Responsibilities

Create texture from scratch and/or sampled photos, scanned references or any artwork necessary to create new objects or to match the surfaces of existing live action footage
Work with the VFX Supervisor, the CG Supervisor and the Assets Lead to determine the best possible technical and creative approaches
Deliver work within established project targets and quality standards

Qualifications & Experience

8+ years of experience in a VFX studio
Experience using Maya to create textures for hyper-realistic backgrounds and environments
Excellent knowledge of Mari
Experience working with Substances Painter and Designer
Excellent knowledge of colour management
Very good knowledge of the shading process using Arnold
