Key Responsibilities

Create verifiable, effective, and reusable tools using best software development practices
Develop pipeline tools to meet production demands, ensuring that it meets departmental standards as requested by project and technical supervisors
Help maintain a wide range of workflows and scripts
Provide front-line support to producing artists, troubleshooting assets and shots, and help artists find a solution to general problems
Work with different supervisors to determine the best possible technical and creative approaches
Create and communicate documentation on the tools developed and train other users to use the tools developed

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in computer science, computer visualization or computer animation required or equivalent work experience
Passion for VFX and ideally 1 year of experience in a VFX or video game studio
Experience with Python
Experience with Houdini, Maya or Katana
Good understanding of the Linux operating system
