Location: Munich

Key Responsibilities

Produce photorealistic simulations of smoke, clouds, dust, explosions, fire and water
Create rigid body simulations, particles and fluids
Collect a variety of 3D assets produced by the Animation and Layout Departments
Work closely with the CG Lead and VFX Supervisors to find creative and technical solutions and with Production to meet deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

Excellent knowledge of Houdini
Basic knowledge of physics

Passionate about cinema and VFX

Assets

Good knowledge of programming principles using Mel/Python
Knowledge of Nuke
Basic knowledge of Renderman and/or Arnold

Junior Artist

Recent graduate or at an early stage in your career
Minimal work experience or new to VFX
Able to perform junior level tasks
Seek experience, knowledge and mentorship from peers

Intermediate Artist

2+ years of experience in VFX
Independent, proactive and able to tackle most artistic and technical tasks
Know when to ask for help or a second opinion
Able and willing to share knowledge with peers

Senior Artist

5+ years of experience in high-end VFX
Confident in your artistic and technical skills
Able to trouble-shoot or find solutions and easily complete complex tasks
Able to contribute significantly towards the training and development of peers
