Key Responsibilities

Create photorealistic and stylized environments in 3D and 2D
Create complete assets in 3D for the environment department
Create complete shots, from a concept or reference to delivery to compositing
Combine talents in Photoshop, Clarisse, Maya and Nuke, with knowledge of modeling and camera projection techniques to produce 3D and 2D digital environments
Work closely with the CG and Environment Supervisors and Production to find creative and technical solutions and to meet deadlines

Qualifications & Experience

Excellent knowledge of Clarisse, Maya and Nuke
Excellent knowledge of modeling, texture, surface and lighting of assets
Excellent knowledge of camera projection techniques
Excellent knowledge of Photoshop

Assets

Experience with Substance Painter and Designer
Knowledge of environment creation softwares (World Machine, Terragen, Gaea)
Knowledge of SpeedTree
Knowledge of Katana
Knowledge of Houdini

Junior Artist

Recent graduate or at an early stage in your career
Minimal work experience or new to VFX
Able to perform junior level tasks
Seek experience, knowledge and mentorship from peers

Intermediate Artist

2+ years of experience in VFX
Independent, proactive and able to tackle most artistic and technical tasks
Know when to ask for help or a second opinion
Able and willing to share knowledge with peers

Senior Artist

5+ years of experience in high-end VFX
Confident in your artistic and technical skills
Able to trouble-shoot or find solutions and easily complete complex tasks
Able to contribute significantly towards the training and development of peers
