It was impossible not to get excited by Edge of Tomorrow’s latest trailer – it is now time to enjoy the full movie!

The critics have been extremely positive about this awaited sci-fi thriller that hits theaters today. Starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, Edge of Tomorrow is about an untrained soldier (Cruise) forced to relive the same day over and over. The epic action of Edge of Tomorrow unfolds in a near future in which an alien race has hit the earth in an unrelenting assault, unbeatable by any military unit in the world.

Rodeo FX, along with a handful of VFX companies, contributed to the breath-taking visual effects of this action-packed movie. Our team created extensive matte paintings and set extensions for Heathrow Airport, the training base of the army. We also crafted matte paintings for the beach sequence, where the troops land and are ambushed by the Mimics. Rodeo FX artists also digitally enhanced the trailer park location, adding various mid-ground and background CG elements. This explosive film is a real visual treat, all the more so since it is presented in 3D and IMAX 3D.

Don’t miss this pure entertainment movie that is expected to be one of this summer’s Blockbusters!

Tom Cruise (the Mission: Impossible films, Collateral, Jerry Maguire) and Emily Blunt (The Devil wears Prada, The adjustment bureau) star in Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Village Roadshow pictures’ sci-fi thriller Edge of Tomorrow, under the direction of Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr. & Mrs. Smith). The story is inspired by the Japanese novel entitled All You Need Is Kill, by Hiroshi Sakurazaka.
