Marjolaine Tremblay started her filmmaking career at Industrial Light & Magic where she led the animation team on projects such as Men In Black, The Mummy Returns, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and Star Wars: Episode 1. After a stint as CEO/creative director at ElementFX, she joined the LA office of Rodeo FX in 2010, where she is a VFX bidding producer and VFX supervisor.
She specializes in the early development phase of VFX projects, managing the client’s creative and technical expectations. She focuses on breaking down scripts, creating concepts, budgeting, recommending processes for production and postproduction, and on-set supervision. Her most recent projects with Rodeo FX include Now You See Me, Warcraft, The Shack, and Central Intelligence.
Marjolaine studied film animation at Concordia University and computer graphics at the NAD center in Montreal. She currently serves on the Producer’s Guild International Committee and has also served as chair of the Bay Area section of the Visual Effects Society.
