Denis Villeneuve’s upcoming film Enemy has been nominated in the Achievement in Visual Effects category at the 2014 Canadian Screen Awards. Rodeo FX produced 60 visual effects shots for this movie that played in the Toronto International Film Festival last September, and will open in March 2014 across Canada.

Starring Jake Gyllenhaal and based on a book written by José Saramago, Enemy is a drama about a man who discovers his real-life double in a film and decides to track him down. Produced by Rhombus Media of Toronto and Montreal-based micro_scope, the movie is a Canada-Spain co-production.

Canada’s king of comedy, Martin Short, will host the 2-Hour Live Canadian Screen Awards Broadcast Gala Sunday March 9, 2014 @ 8pm on CBC, from the prestigious Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto.
