Rodeo FX is pleased to have won a Mercure Award last night for SME of the year in the category Productivity Improvement – Business Development Bank of Canada, at the Mercuriades awards gala.
More than 900 leaders and business people attended the 2015 gala, which took place at the Palais des Congrès de Montréal and was hosted by Bernard Derome. Since 1981, the Mercuriades have remained faithful to their mission to reward and promote the expertise, creativity and excellence of Québec businesses, both large and small.
“2014 was an exceptional year for Rodeo FX, in terms of amazing projects and significant growth”, says President Sébastien Moreau. “We have doubled the size of our team, opened offices in Quebec City and Los Angeles, and our work was rewarded by the visual effects industry with a Emmy and a VES Award; it couldn’t have been better!”
The incredible productivity improvement of the company is the result of the development of new internal processes, strategic use of technology, efficient and adapted management tools, as well as a tighter resources and expenses management. Isabelle Langlois, Vice President Production at Rodeo FX, is delighted with the benefits of this new strategy: “We are extremely proud of the innovations achieved at Rodeo FX and we are grateful to our team who actively participated in developing the new tools and implementing the new process. This prize is the result of a tremendous collective effort and it is important to us to share this great recognition with our amazing team.”
The 35th edition of the Mercuriades, the prestigious business competition organized by the Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec (FCCQ) was a great success this year, as the number of submissions increased by 32% since last year, and the number of attendants at the gala was up by 23%.
