Last week, Montreal Mayor Valérie Plante led an economic mission to Los Angeles to promote our local film and television industries. We were honored to accompany the Mayor on her tour and to host her at our LA studio for a closing celebration.

The mission, co-organized by the Quebec Film and Television Council (QFTC) and SODEC, met with the biggest California-based studios, including Amazon, Disney/ABC, Fox, HBO, Lionsgate, Netflix, Paramount, and Sony, aiming to strengthen the relationship with these major players.

As part of the mission, Mayor Valérie Plante spoke at LA Comotion, a major conference on sustainable mobility where she underscored the launch of Rolling Green, an initiative to accelerate the shift towards environmentally responsible audiovisual production in Québec.

We are proud to have participated in this mission alongside the Quebec Film and Television Council, SODEC, MELS, MTL Grandé, Difuze, Rodeo FX, AQTIS, IATSE 514, ACTRA, DGC, IATSE 667, Attraction, Cinélande, Banque Nationale, Demers Beaulne, Groupe Star Suites, and Air Canada.
