We are proud to announce that we have won an Animago Award in the Best Visual Effects category for our work on Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, directed by David Yates.

Our team, led by our VFX Supervisor Arnaud Brisebois, delivered close to 200 shots in 15 sequences. For our environment work, including the monumental Ministry of Magic, our team was inspired by and based on Harry Potter Artistic Director Stuart Craig’s archive set drawings and scans from the Harry Potter Studio Tour. The action-packed film was also a fun challenge for our FX team, who created an incredible range of effects and destruction.

This award is the result of another successful collaboration between our team and VFX supervisors Tim Burke and Christian Manz, and Warner Bros. It marks the second win for Rodeo FX at Animago, having won an Animago Award for  our work on Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in 2017.

Thomas Hullin, Head of Rodeo FX Munich, was at the event to receive the award and to represent the company at the ceremony.
