The world went crazy on December 18th for the release of the most anticipated movie of the decade. Needless to say that it is a brilliant masterstroke for Bell to have teamed up with Walt Disney Studios Canada for its national marketing campaign that creatively pairs Star Wars: The Force Awakens with Bell’s Gigabit Fibe.

Created by Lg2, the multi-faceted campaign promoting the super high speed of Bell’s Gigabit Fibe Internet services features Star Wars characters, starships and space imagery that will resonate with fans of all ages.

And it is Rodeo FX who had the privilege of creating this absolutely unique and memorable imagery! The artists –big fans of Star Wars, of course!- were thrilled to be part of this campaign and create the famous lightspeed effect! For the artists, no need to make research for visual reference since these powerful images are literally engraved forever in their memory! The Rodeo FX team also completed digital integrations, color correction, as well as all of the visual effects of the various TV spots contained in this extensive national marketing campaign.

Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens campaign features both 15 and 30-second television ads airing in high rotation across English and French media. The massive promotional campaign is released across TV, print, social media, out-of-home, and retail store platforms.

This project marks another fruitful collaboration between Rodeo FX, Director Nicolas Monette, agency Lg2 and production company Quatre Zéro Un.
